Live Social Work Podcast Event: The Social Worker & the Mentor Podcast

On the 24th of November 2023, London Metropolitan University will host a live podcast covering all social work and education topics. An interactive session will be delivered to help social workers, psychologists, school teachers, and other professionals interested in the field to prepare for their practice, hosted by Nana and Rob from The Social Worker and the Mentor podcast, who were recently nominated for the BASW Journalism award.

The aim of the live show is to deliver social work and education-related knowledge based on having genuine and honest conversations on the current state of social work and the education profession.

This is open to London Met students, staff and external visitors!

*There will be an opportunity for networking and drinks at the end of the event.

DATE & TIME

The event will begin precisely 6:45pm and doors will open at 6:00pm and it will end at 9:00pm on 24th November.

HOW TO FIND US

The event will take place at London Metropolitan University, The Great Hall, 166-220 Holloway Road, London, N7 8DB. It is accessible via our Rocket entrance (also known as our clocktower entrance).

EXTERNAL VISITORS

If you are an external visitor (not student or staff of London Met), you will be asked to show your Eventbrite registration. There is no need to print your e-ticket – just show tickets on your phone to our staff.

Staff will be on hand in the reception area to offer you further assistance and guide you through the building. You are strongly advised to come 10 minutes before the event starts.
